Details to compare
| Detail | What to check |
|---|---|
| Product and organisation | The named product, responsible organisation and manufacturer |
| Product version | Model, formulation, software and any covered variants |
| Recognised use | Intended users, use context and important conditions |
| Award identity | Actual award year, decision date and permanent Award ID |
| Certificate revision | The current certificate version shown in the record |
| Current status | Whether recognition is awarded, under review, suspended or withdrawn |
Find the official record
Scan the QR code or enter the complete ID in Verify an award. Confirm the domain and compare the product details. An image of a certificate without a matching official record is not enough to verify recognition.
Corrected certificates
A factual correction may require a revised certificate. Its revision number changes while the Award ID remains the same. Download the current copy from your account and replace superseded copies in materials you control.
Understand status changes
Under review means a material question is being examined. Suspended restricts mark use; Withdrawn removes recognition. Discontinued concerns product availability and is distinct from withdrawal. Read relevant history when checking an older certificate.
Report a mismatch
Compare exact identifiers first. Recipients can request a factual correction through the account change process. Use Report a concern for suspected altered certificates or misleading award use.
