Governance

Responsibility for the programme

The International Association of Health Product Manufacturers sets the eligibility conditions, criteria and award rules. Applicants can read the requirements before entering, including free benefits, mark use and the routes for raising a concern or appealing a decision.

Responsibility for a decision

The awards team checks eligibility and completeness. Three reviewers independently assess the evidence. A separate chair considers their findings and signs the decision. Publication follows confirmation of the public product facts.

Safeguards for independence

Relevant relationships must be declared before assignment. A material conflict requires replacement. Optional purchases are handled separately from assessment and cannot affect an award result or its digital benefits.

Correcting errors and hearing concerns

Applicants can appeal a material factual or procedural error without charge. Appeals are considered independently of the original decision-makers. Recipients can report product changes and request factual corrections; anyone can report an inaccurate award claim.

Maintaining reliable records

Applications, evidence, reasons and relevant changes are retained with controlled access. Public records identify the recognised product and current status. Material corrections and status changes are reflected in the record history.
