Health Choice Awards
IAHPM awards programmes
Health Choice Awards and Global Health Product Awards have distinct assessment focuses. Choose the programme that fits the product case you can support.

Compare the programmes
| Health Choice Awards | Global Health Product Awards | |
|---|---|---|
| Main focus | How a finished product serves defined users in a practical use context | The broader product proposition, including performance, evidence, usability, quality, information and responsible design |
| Application emphasis | The relationship between the product, its benefit and the experience of using it | The product qualities addressed by that programme’s criteria |
| Decision | Made under the Health Choice standard | Made under the Global Health Product Awards rules |
| Award identity | Health Choice Award and an HCA record | Global Health Product Awards identity and record |
When HCA fits your product
Consider HCA when you can explain who uses the product, what task it supports and what evidence shows about benefit and practical use. The eight categories cover finished products; upstream ingredients and components are outside HCA’s eligibility.
Applying to both programmes
You may provide material you are authorised to use in each application, with the product and version clearly identified. Each programme reviews its own entry and reaches its own decision. Recognition in one does not establish recognition in the other.
Find the relevant requirements
Read HCA eligibility and the Global Health Product Awards website before deciding where to apply. Both programmes are presented by IAHPM.
