Eligibility

An eligible entry identifies a finished product, a supported use context and an organisation authorised to submit it.

Who may apply

Manufacturers, responsible brand owners and authorised representatives may apply. Agents must identify the principal and provide written authority. The contact must be able to answer evidence and publication questions.

Product and market identity

The product must be available in at least one stated market. Provide the model, formulation or software release, current instructions and relevant market status. An award does not provide regulatory permission or replace product compliance duties.

Evidence and intended users

Define users, tasks, environment and limits. Provide evidence relevant to that scope and disclose important contrary findings. The online dossier must permit a meaningful assessment without a physical sample.

Products outside the scope

The following are outside HCA’s scope:

  • Upstream ingredients and components.
  • Company-wide nominations and concepts.
  • Professional-only laboratory platforms.
  • Prescription-only products, implants and life-support products.

Families, agents and repeat entries

Explain differences within a proposed family. Identify related or previous entries and material changes; do not submit duplicates to seek a different reviewer. A changed version may require a new scope and evidence.

Ask before submitting

If product status, category or authority is unclear, describe the product and question through Contact. Do not rely on a product name alone to establish eligibility.
