Identify the product first
Compare the name, manufacturer, model or formulation and relevant software release. Check any covered models and markets. A later release or another product in the same range may fall outside the award.
Read why it was recognised
The award citation explains the product’s achievement against the standard. Read it alongside the intended users, use context and evidence scope to understand the conditions the review considered.
Understand the limits
Recognition concerns the identified product and supported use. It is not a ranking of all competing products or permission to make broader health claims. Source evidence and individual reviewer reports remain private.
Check status and history
The decision date identifies the actual award decision. Later updates may correct a fact or change the status. Use the live record when checking an older certificate, and read any material history before relying on it.
Compare the certificate
The Award ID and certificate revision should agree with the current record. Verify the ID if you have a certificate, or contact the team about a factual difference. Suspected misuse can be reported separately.
