Factual corrections
A spelling correction, contact update or clarified identifier can usually be handled as a documented correction where the assessed product and recognition remain unchanged. State the old information, corrected information and supporting source.
Technical or use changes
Disclose formulation, sensor, algorithm, interface, materials, intended users, instructions and warning changes. Describe the effective date and effect on claims, tasks and evidence. The team decides whether the original scope remains supported or a new review is required.
Additional models
Do not add a new model to award materials before scope is confirmed. Provide a comparison against the assessed version and explain every difference relevant to the six criteria. A common brand or enclosure does not establish equivalence.
Discontinuation
Report discontinuation or withdrawal from a market. The public record can retain the historical recognition while clearly describing availability. Discontinuation alone is not a finding that the award was improperly made.
Review and public status
The programme may seek further material, place a record under review, suspend mark use or withdraw recognition where support is no longer adequate. Decisions and significant changes are recorded with reasons and a route to respond.
What to submit
Give the award ID, change date, affected models and markets, old and new specifications, evidence and proposed public correction. Use the account change process and read Product changes and award status.
